Shivraj Singh Chouhan says "Congress taught wrong history saying India became independent only because of Mahatma Gandhi, Nehru and Indira."

The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan said the lives and roles of the revolutionaries who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the country such as Tantya mama, Rani Laxmibai, Nana Saheb Peshwa, Bhima Nayak, Raghunath Shah, Shankar Shah, Birsa Munda and many others were never educated to people.

Congress has taught false history to the people that the country is independent only because of the contributions of Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi, Madhya Pradesh Prime Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Saturday.

Speaking at a rally in Baroda Aheer, the birthplace of national reformer Tantya Mama, who marked the launch of the Gaurav Kalash Yatra, Chouhan said, "We were not taught the right history, I salute Mahatma Gandhi, Vishwa Bandhu (brother of the universe), but the INC has taught us the wrong history ”.


He said the lives and roles of revolutionaries who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the country such as Tantya mama, Rani Laxmibai, Nana Saheb Peshwa, Bhima Nayak, Raghunath Shah, Shankar Shah, Birsa Munda and several others were not taught.

Chouhan said it was sad to note that Congress named the international university after (former prime minister) Indira Gandhi and not from the reformers from the international community.


"They glorified only one family (the INC) and some martyrs forgot. But we (BJP) are correcting this historical error, ”he said.


At the event, CM paid tribute to Tantya Mama's descendants and announced the inclusion of the Bill's image.


Gaurav Kalash Yatra will end on December 4, the day of the martyrdom of Tantya Bhil, in Patalpani after passing through various sections of the Member of Parliament.
