"It was a wonderful and memorable journey from the streets of Jalandhar to be a Turbanator for Team India. Nothing motivates me in life more than walking off the field wearing an Indian jersey. However, there comes a time in life. This announcement has been made public - I am giving up all forms of cricket, "Harbhajan said on his official YouTube channel.
The veteran player last represented India in 2016 in the T20I, but continued to play in the Indian Premier League until earlier this year, when he was part of the Kolkata Knight Riders team. In an impressive IPL performance, Harbhajan represents three sides - the Indians of Mumbai (2008-2017), the Chennai Super Kings (2018-2019) and the Kolkata Knight Riders (2021), who lift the title four times - three times through MI and CSK .

In the 2000s, Harbhajan continued to be the world’s leading champion and great Kumble. Harbhajan's next series was the 2001 Border-Gavaskar Trophy, where he won a hat-trick at the prestigious Eden Gardens Test in Kolkata. He has eliminated Ricky Pointing, Adam Gilchrist and Shane Warne in a series of deliveries as India completes their most famous ever-winning win.
