Swiggy orders with new record 9,049 orders per minute


Swiggy’s CEO Sriharsha Majety tweeted to recall the day of Swiggy’s first new year when it received one order for every three minutes.
For mainstream food delivery, Swiggy broke its New Year’s delivery record by delivering 9,049 orders per minute. With this, Swiggy ended a fierce battle with Zomato by posting live on Twitter the average number of jobs taken on December 31.

“Current food orders per minute. 130K users are working on the Swiggy app right now. That is almost double the capacity of Eden Gardens,” the food service company Twitter
At 9pm tonight Swiggy broke more than 2 billion orders in his place. Sriharsha Majety, CEO of Swiggy also added “How times have changed. Love Indian hunger more.”
